This residential duct hose accessory is easy to use and has worked great for us for years. The concept is simple. Remember that ozone generators need to breathe good oxygen in order to convert into ozone. The better the oxygen the better the ozone. For some applications like vehicles, small boats, closets, and confined spaces (under about 50sqft) I recommend leaving the machine outside the treatment area so it can breathe a good supply of air. Then use the hose to then direct the ozone into the treatment space. This prevents the machine from simply recycling its own ozone soon after it is produced. There are no tools required and it takes only seconds to attach. Just thread the hose into the extra end piece (included) then slide that end piece over the exisiting one on the outlet end of the machine. It holds in place by pressure alone. The hose is 8ft long which is more than enough to stretch into most spaces. In fact I actually recommend trying to keep the hose as short as possible in order to prevent any back-pressuring of ozone through the machine. If you are an auto detailer or used car dealership this accessory is the simplest way to improve results and prolong the life of the machine.
ALLOWS DIRECT OZONE CONTACT
TREAT UPHOLSTERY & APPAREL
COMPATABLE WITH SHOP-VAC FITTINGS
MUST USE RESPIRATOR & GOGGLES
Many of my customers (primarily auto detailers and upholstery & apparel cleaners) have been in need of a way to forcefully blast ozone directly into their desired target. For example, those who clean cars professionally can benefit greatly by being able to actually blow high concentrations of ozone directly into the seats, floor mats, headliners, trunks, and almost all other surface areas. Specialized apparel cleaning companies (including dry cleaners) can also benefit from being able to blast clothing & uniforms directly instead of just treating the room that they are in. The target hose is the solution. Included is a rugged 2.5" PVC end piece and nozzle. The hose is 2.5" diameter and about 3.5' long (we keep it relatively short to prevent back pressuring). At the end of the hose you can add any standard 2.5" Shop Vac accessory (included is the bristle brush type you see pictured) so that you can then forcefully treat any individual item, upholstery, or fabric. The only catch is that if you are going to be standing there manually treating items you'll need to use a respirator mask and goggles so that you yourself are not exposed to too much ozone during the application. And you may even want to add a shoulder strap to make it easier to keep the machine steady while you are doing work (see the accessories page to find both of these other items). This type of application is sophisticated and not recommended for most buyers. But if you are a professional cleaner looking for a new unique way to offer premier ozone treatment services this target hose gives you something worth charging customers to use. Contact me if you have questions before or after ordering. I recommend chatting to make sure you do this one right.
